Firmware Upgrade
If you need to update firmware, please proceed as the following steps:

Download the latest firmware file from WAVLINK website.

Extract the firmware from the downloaded file.

Log in to http://wavlogin.link or 192.168.40.1, then choose “System” and select “Firmware”.

Click on to locate the firmware file.

Click on “Update” and wait for the firmware upgrade process to complete.

FAQ
Q1: No access to network.
- Try to change the APN settings manually.
- Please make sure you have strong 5G/4G signal reception
- After powering on, the device needs 1–2 min to initialize. Please wait.
- If you still have issues, please contact our support team.
Q2: Unable to access 5G CPE management page.
- Please type the correct address in the browser address bar.
- Make sure you are connected to the Wavlink device either via Wi-Fi or via Ethernet cable.
- After connecting to the Wavlink device, disconnect any other Internet connections, including VPV. If you configure the device via smartphone, please disable the mobile network.
- Please do not use a proxy server.
Q3: What should I do if I could not get Internet after I install the SIM card in the device?
- Make sure that the nano-SIM card is inserted correctly into 5G CPE device and the 5G CPE device is operating in 4G、5G-SA、5GNSA、Auto mode.
- Check with your ISP to ensure that your SIM card is in your ISP's service area.
- Check with your ISP to ensure that your 4G/5G mobile plan is available.
- Move your 5G CPE device to a different location such as closer to the window or door to see whether it gets better signal strength.
