FAQ
Q1. Why does my dock get hot when I use it?
- A1. This is what it’s supposed to be like when the dock is working, and we suggest that you put the dock in a relatively open area for a better heat dissipation.
Q2. Why is there no display after I connect the dock to the USB-C port of my laptop?
- A2. Please make sure that you have installed the latest driver. At last, please check if the USB-C port of your laptop supports data transmission and switch button is already switched to USB mode.
Q3. What should I do if the dock cannot deliver power to my host laptop?
- A3. Please make sure that your laptop supports USB-C power delivery.
Q4. Does it work on MacOS?
- A4. MacOS only supports USB Mode, and you need to download the MacOS version of the driver that is specially designed for WiFi dock.
Q5. Does the Wi-Fi mode support the connection of multiple host computers?
- A5. The Wi-Fi mode only supports the connection of a single terminal device, which is used for Wi-Fi Internet access and USB expansion.
Q6. Why can't the host computer connect to the WiFi of the Dock automatically?
- A6. Please ensure the automatic function has been activated, if not, please check the box for Automatic Connection in the WiFi Docking APP.
Q7. Why can’t I find the wireless SSID of the docking station in WiFiDock APP, or the prompt that no wireless adapter is detected?
- A7. 1.Please enter Settings-Network & Internet-Status-Change adapter options, and check if the wireless network module has been enabled.
2.Please enter Settings-Privacy-Location, and check if the location permission has been enabled, or restart the docking station.
Q8. How far does the wireless connection reach between the host PC and the docking station in WiFi mode?
- A8. A good usage environment can be achieved within 20m in a non-interference situation; the ideal usage environment can be achieved within 10m in a non-interference situation.
Q9. What resolutions can the USB camera support via the docking?
- A9. USB mode can support USB camera with 4K resolution; WiFi mode can support 1920*1080@60Hz.
