FAQ
Q1. Why doesn't the login page appear after entering http://wavlogin.link?
- Please make sure you entered the correct URL in the address bar of the browser but not the search bar.
- If the login page doesn't appear when you try to log in by phone, please turn off your mobile data and try again.
- Try to use 192.168.40.1 to log in to the management page.
- Try to use another device, like PC/phone, to log in to the management page.
- Make sure the VPN is disabled.
Q2. I could not get Internet from the Wavlink device after configuration. What should I do?
If you install the SIM card and do not use the WAN connection.
- Make sure that the nano-SIM card is inserted correctly into 5G CPE device and log in to the management page, go to More>>5G Mobile Network Settings>>Network Search Priority and select Auto as the Network Search Priority.
- Try to install the SIM card in the phone to check if you can get Internet. (To rule out the problem of the SIM card)
- Move your 5G CPE device to a different location, such as a position closer to the window or door, to get better 4G/5G signal strength, then check if this could help.
- Please log in to the management page and go to More>>5G Mobile Network Settings>>APN Setting and enter the APN setting manually. You could contact the mobile network operator to get the APN setting.
If you do not install the SIM and use the WAN connection.
- Restart your modem (wait 5 minutes). Disconnect extra Ethernet ports from the modem.
- Test by connecting a computer directly to the modem and check if you can get Internet. If you still cannot get Internet, contact your ISP.
- Choose the correct WAN type--DHCP/PPPoE/Static IP. If you are not sure, please contact the ISP or our support team.
- For cable modems, copy the WAN MAC address of the device which could get Internet from the modem via the Ethernet cable, then log in to the management page of Wavlink device and enter this MAC address in More>Network>Internet>MAC Clone>Custom MAC, then reboot the modem and router.
If you still meet some problems, please feel free to contact our support team.
Q3. How do I restore the device to factory default setting?
- Press and hold the reset button of the device for 6 seconds.
Q4. What can I do if I forget my administration management password?
- Please reset the device.
